[HEY CHANG GENG, HEADS UP! There's some honking and Atsushi-sounding screaming coming from the carnival.

And then there's a loud 'poof'. And then Atsushi stumbles over, covered in monochrome confetti.

He looks ready to cry too, this place is awful.]

[ oh dear. chang geng has seen his fair share of clowns so far, since they were essentially summoned, but he's more tired of them than stressed out or fearful.

he'll come take pity on atsushi, coming to join him - approaching at an angle where he can be seen - and reaching down to just. dust the confetti off him. ]

You must know that they're taking enjoyment out of bothering people like this. [ offers him a hand up? ] Try not to let them get to you, if you can.

[Thank u Chang Geng. At least it's confetti and not makeup.]

They're not even that scary! They just keep catching me off-guard and then I scream because they surprised me!

[ at least. he does not suffer clownification. ]

That's almost worse, somehow. It does make it more satisfying when you can hit them in the face though.

[ he is so pleasant and says that so calmly ]

[He's already a clown so he can't become more of a clown- I mean.]

Just a little bit. But I can't even hit them that well right now.

Still feeling a little tired? It might not be the most comfortable, but it may be better for you to get some more rest in the mansion.

I'd rather the others get rest on a bed if they can. I'm at least used to sleeping outside.

There's enough beds that can be used, or salvaged, that I think you could probably get some rest when others aren't using them.

Ah, that's true! If everyone is awake, then I can find time to sneak off for a nap. I always had an easier time falling asleep in the sunlight anyway.

What little sunlight there is here, anyways - but it would be better to take advantage of it now when everyone else is exploring or otherwise not using the beds.

[ he picks a piece of monochrome confetti off of atsushi's head. ]

Please rest. Pushing yourself will do no one any favors, yourself included.

I know.

[He does, really. But something something esteem issues.]

It's just a hard habit to break, that's all. I don't want to let people down.

[He shakes his head side to side a few times, and a couple more pieces of confetti fall down.]

Week 0, Saturday

[moonlightbeast]

[Out in the void, nobody can hear you scream.

Well, Chang Geng might hear Atsushi's nightly ramblings. But that's not quite screaming.]

It's fine, it's fine, it's going to be fine. We just have to find the way out of this place, and no more spooky things can happen. Just look for the exit, don't linger-

[Then he practically bumps into Chang Geng so his rambling cuts off abruptly.]

Week 1, Tuesday

[Hey Chang Geng, look out! Because Atsushi is is screaming nearby.

He's screaming because he tripped and the stack of books he was carrying is now flying through the air. Watch out for raining books!]

Week 2, Friday

[Atsushi is! At the greenhouse! He's tending to some of the plants there, though his movements seem a bit mechanical, like he's not fully focused on what he's doing.

Because he's not. He's deep in thought. Though he does look up and nod to Chang Geng when he notices the other man is there.]

[impurities]

[ he can't really judge atsushi, considering his roaming is mostly because of something restless, something agitated, but it's still going through the motions.

when he sees him, though, chang geng offers him a slight tip of his head in return. he makes his way into the greenhouse proper, and as he passes behind atsushi, he sets his hand briefly between his shoulders. ]

You look like you've got some things on your mind.

[moonlightbeast]

[His shoulders are a little tense at the touch, but he does relax slightly after. Something something he actually likes physical contact, and touch week is helping with that.]

Is it that obvious?

[He's trying to smile a little, but it's tired.]

Buzen-san was a friend. And 9s didn't deserve to die either.

Week 3, Monday

[The museum seems like a safe place to go! Even with the spooky skeletons and all. Atsushi will very carefully dodge around those, yes. But while dodging the moving exhibits, he'll end up where Chang Geng is!]

-oh! Hello! Find anything interesting over here?

[impurities]

Well. [ chang geng looks at the various exhibits, raising an eyebrow at a few of them. why is what now sexy? animorphs? hello? ] This entire place is filled to the brim with interesting, but the question becomes whether one can make heads or tails of it.

I don't really think art is supposed to be understandable.

[He says, as he looks at an animorph picture of a man into a clown.]
