[I'm so glad I waited until after my nap because now there's GHOSTS and that feels like a good thing to talk to Danny about.

But for now, Atsushi is standing at the entrance to the temple are and is. Practically shaking in his boots. Because he can hear those ghosts and they're scary.]

This is it. This is how we die: to ghosts.

[He's being a little dramatic. And then he sees Danny and gets more dramatic.]

Y-you don't want to come over here. It's a death trap.

[ Danny's brow furrows before he raises a skeptical eyebrow ]

Ghosts? Really? In there?

Yeah! There's shadows and noises and it's like you're just barely missing them any time you look! You should turn back, it's not somewhere safe.

Maybe it's...something else? Not ghosts? Some other spooky thing.

What spooky thing is there besides ghosts?

Well, I ran into some zombies earlier today.

[moonlightbeast]

Please tell me you didn't get bitten. I don't want to live in a zombie movie.

[gogoghostpowers]

Nah. They hardly did any biting at all.

The one I encountered just kinda talked to me and then dropped a few body parts and left.

...zombies can talk?

[gogoghostpowers]

I mean, mostly they just said "brains" but they also did like. Hand gestures to communicate.

Mostly. One of their fingers fell off doing it.

Hand gestures....sign language?

[Not that Atsushi knows sign language, but.]

No, like, just pointing at each other or us, basic stuff like that.

Oh. Maybe they didn't know sign language either.

[gogoghostpowers]

Yeaaahhh, I bet sign language is pretty hard to learn when your fingers keep popping off.

Probably just a little bit.

[He sighs.]

If we had some way to communicate with them, then we could see what they're here for.

[gogoghostpowers]

I mean. They were pretty clear about wanting brains, at least at first.

I don't think zombies really show up to places for any specific reasons other than that. They just kind of...are.

They're an environmental hazard...

[gogoghostpowers]

Hmmm...maybe we can just quarantine them to like, a zombie room? Zombie house?

Then we can drop in and visit whenever we want in case they get lonely. Like a zombie petting zoo.

You know, I'm starting to think it's ghosts again.

Oh, I'm convinced it's ghosts.

[Oh good, they're on the same page.]

They were messing up the fun game we set up! I don't know what their plan is, but they could have at least waited!

That's ghosts for you. They might not even have a plan, they just like showing up and messing with things sometimes.

At least if it's ghosts then we know who we need to talk to about this.

Ugh, not like I've been a huge help with them so far.

It's alright, all of us are struggling with the ghosts.
