Alright, I'm trusting you with that.

[And he'll open it up and show Kumon the book he's been working on. Which will actually have more pages added soon, I need to put them on that page still.]

[There's... warmth when he begins to read it, a gentle wash of affection. The days they spend in their apartment all together, almost like home. How cruel of the prism to give something like that to them, and yank it away just a few short weeks later.

He does his best to blink away his tears.]

... You're such kind person, Atsushi.

[He doesn't feel kind right now, but hearing someone say it makes him feel a bit warmer at least. He leans against Kumon a bit, both trying to comfort him and to comfort himself too.]

I just want to help as best as I can with the time I have left. 12 hours should be enough time to add a few more pages, I think.

[Kumon's sure that whatever happens under refraction isn't really how people behave. It's not their true self. So he lets himself get leaned against, and thinks about how nice it was to live with Atsushi for this last month.]

Find some time to rest too.

[Because tomorrow... he did pick combat.]

[But he has to wait 8 hours to use his Amber power again whoops.]

[Because he can't be the only person who wants to see Atsushi, and the portal only lets so many people in at a time.]

[Yeah it's a stream of people in and out of here. But he's going to chill with Kumon for a little longer yet.]

[It's that as much as he can sometimes involves fainting.]

Ah? Well I like just about everything, but sunflowers are nice.

Isn't it? Not only are they large and beautiful, but they make for a tasty snack too.

They're one of my friend's favorite flowers too.

Tenma. He's the leader of Summer troupe.

Ahh, your troupe leader! Then I picked well by planting sunflowers, huh? I hope you like them.

Uh-huh. I do.

[A little pause before he offers-]

My favorite flowers are morning glories.

Oh, morning glories are very nice too. You'll grow some of those in the greenhouse, yeah?

[ Just like he promised, he's here before everything is about to happen. ]

[Atsushi looks very tired, but he's smiling when Kumon comes back in the wee hours of the morning.]

Hey. Thanks for coming back.

[He has two things in his hand: the book and an Amber-made stuffed chameleon.]

[9mon]

Yeah, I will.

[If he can find them, did you know the seeds are poisonous? I didn't until this moment.]

[9mon]

Yeah, of course. I promised.

[He'll hand Kumon the stuffed chameleon first.]

I know it's an odd choice to go with the pile we already have, but they're cute. And...um...could you possibly give this to Vin, later?

[That's when he holds up the book a bit.]

[He holds the chameleon and hugs it tight.

They have a decent amount of these at home... can he call it home? It's going to feel so empty after this weekend.]

Yeah, I will.

[The least he can do is give the man his last requests, right?]
