Haha... I feel like some might disagree with that notion, but we're certainly not doing as badly as we could be.

Given that we've only known each other two weeks, we're doing alright.

Seeing the bonds that people have formed during that time is very sweet to see.

Aren't they? I kind of wonder if those bonds are what we need to combat the changes too. That as we grow more connected, we'll be able to resist mind control.

Hm... you mean like a broad sort of power that might apply to all of us? After all, Kazuma and Ryunosuke's bond didn't protect them.

Yeah. Something related to our color magic, maybe?

The colours seem important, for reasons we still haven't quite figured out. And there are those strange markings people received...

There's those too...maybe we should check people regularly to see if they get those marks.

And figure out a pattern, maybe? It wouldn't hurt.

Yes! If we find a pattern, then we can predict who will murder and stick them somewhere safe overnight.

Those markings are a sign that someone's mind is being altered, yes?

So far, they've neither been directly helpful nor harmful, if they're meant to have any intent at all.
