[Atsushi is practically shoving his face against the plant before Dazai takes off, and his pupils are wide with disappointment when the good smell is taken away. But then he remembers it's on his hands too, so he just presses his hands against his face while smelling them. Not as good as the plant itself, but it will do.

He does not follow Dazai. And by the time Dazai looks back, Atsushi will be in tiger form and rolling on the floor.]

(he's too busy, atsushi, too busy, SO busy, he can't look back right now, this is a matter of life or death!!! he's gonna have to cut it with his hands, so he can bring it to the kitchen to grind later, but look, quantities are important. he's going to have to rigorously test the potency per gram!!!

Look at these two stoned idiots, one waving a bandage roll for a tiger while the tiger is trying to get said bandage roll by batting at it while still on his back. It is exactly like what a cat would do, but this cat is beeg.]

(he wants to touch the tiger... it looks so fluffy... can you imagine how soft the fur must be...

but dazai will never have such happiness in his life. as soon as his other hand reaches to pet the tummy... well...

[Dazai laughing against his stomach makes him go "pfffffff".]

[Oh no. There's gears turning in his high mind now. He might actually bite this man, the look on his face says he's considering it.]

[Well that's all the encouragement Atsushi needs. He's going to grab Dazai's face to drag him up and bite his lower lip.

(oh, a lot has changed since atsushi was all nervous in that closet, hasn't it? it's the beauty of drugs! the improbable, yet completely plausible comes out just like that! he's so electric that the kiss he decides to return is much, more more intense, because he feels the energy running in his veins. it's going to make him want to roll around with the other.

Atsushi is chuckling into the kiss as they roll. He's in a playful mood too, and the way cats play is by pouncing on each other. So he's going to try and roll them so he's on top, pinning Dazai down with his arms.

(like this, he doesn't mind much. it's much different than being pinned against a wall, he'd say, the view is-- more interesting, here. one might argue that there has got to be something bad about being this close to your co-worker, let alone your mentee, but this place is completely different, isn't it? different expectations and rules.

[If he had more of a cat-brain right now, Atsushi might do something silly like run circles around the room before tackling Dazai again. But a very human Atsushi, though he's still feeling restless now and wants to move, can contain it for a few moments.]

(he did not, but if there is anything dazai excels at, it would be lying - not that he feels at all strongly either way about it. in this case, at least, it's fun to pull the other's leg, he feels like the high is passing, and the euphoria is becoming more like a gentle wave of dazzling joy.

he'll enjoy it while he can, pulling atsushi for a kiss much more passionate and intense than the ones they had already shared.)

[He's beaming down at Dazai, his smile both bright and kind. Yes, he did bite Dazai, so it's up to him to fix it. The kisses are welcome, he enjoyed it when they made out in that closet too. And being high means he's nowhere near as self-conscious as he usually is, So he leans in to kiss Dazai once more.

It's intense, but he's doing his best to keep up with Dazai, matching him kiss for kiss. He's always been a fast learner, after all. And as they kiss, Atsushi shifts his legs and one slots between Dazai's legs, bringing them closer. He's not doing it on purpose, but pressing close like that feels right.

Also surprise, there's something big in Atsushi's pants and it's probably not a gun.]

(of course he can feel it. now, the question is, whether he wants to do something about it. ultimately, it should be atsushi's decision, and a makeout doesn't warrant anything other than what it is - but he also seems awfully willing. the decision he makes is that he'll keep going, for as long and as far as atsushi will go for. after all, this place will take him sooner, and this warrants them something out of this place. it can provide atsushi better living conditions, the next plate of food, some money, not that dazai himself would care for all these things. in a way, it's a way he has to take care of the other, and shouldn't his first time be with someone that cares?

... not that dazai's was, in any way, but what about him is about 'should's and 'shouldn't's? his kiss only breaks so he can ask.)
