[We're going to say Atsushi manages to carry it without getting a whiff of it so that they can discover its magic at the same time. Also he's only bringing some of it, so there's more for future shenanigans.

(it's not the highest of ranks, but dazai surely isn't in a bad position at all. a shower, storage, all the space that he definitely does not necessarily care for. if he has a place to read and somewhere somewhat comfortable to rest his head against, there's nothing to complain about. back in the mafia days, with all the money in the world, his home of a shipping container smelled like chemicals and death with nearly nothing inside.

the only reason why he likes it it's because he's above chuuya, and solely that. but, alas, he'll jump from his comfy bed once the knocks reach his ears, and his arms stretch up in excitement to see his mentee.)

[With the invitation he'll step in. Wow this room is so much larger than his, he can't help but stare in awe.]

This looks more like actual accommodations...you really did luck out.

[As Atsushi had said, he can be found at the Early Bird cafe, waiting for Jun to arrive. And like usual, he's in a white button-down shirt and black pants. Luckily his usual outfit back home is pretty easy to replicate here, he's never had a problem getting similar clothes.

When he sees Jun, he'll smile and wave to him.]

[ He doesn't take too long to arrive, knowing where the hall is located already. It is much nicer here and a little bit quieter, which helps when you're suddenly thrown into an unexpected place. Jun's wearing casual clothes as always—a pair of jeans and a green sweater—as comfortable as it can be here.

Once he sees Atsushi, he jogs over, waving happily back. ]

Hey! So what would you suggest trying first? I'll trust your judgement for food choices and follow your lead!

[Once they're standing together, Atsushi will point to one of the stalls that seems more like a food cart.]

That one has some pretty good takoyaki. And that one over there does shaved ice. How about we do that?

[ He nods, thinking it's easy enough. It's better than sitting down to a proper meal sometimes, as those fancy dinners don't suit Jun much anyway. ]

Yeah, they've got takoyaki? Who'd have thought that? Sounds like you're pretty familiar with this place already ♪ But that's good with me! I'm down for trying anything. Long as we don't get sick, which I doubt'd be good for business, right?

[ And there's meant to be a joke there, but little does Jun know the food around most places here are spiked with something. ]

So, takoyaki first?

It's where I usually eat.

[He's perpetually broke and doesn't have a kitchen so he has to get his food as cheaply as possible. This place usually has the best options.]

Takoyaki first then. Hopefully we won't get sick.

[That's the other reason he likes this place: he hasn't encountered any sex effects here yet.]

Sounds like it'd be the place to eat, then!

[ Not that Jun knows any better, but right now he's also trying to eat as cheaply as possible, or find ingredients as cheaply as possible. He'll have to cook for three other idols, but mostly for his partner and daily it is. ]

D'you usually get sick 'round here? This'll be my first proper time eatin' anything from these stalls.

[ Stepping cautiously toward the stall, he remains alert, listening for any signs of "danger" from Atsushi. Despite his previous encounter with the funky tea, which only left him pleasantly high, he knows better than to let his guard down entirely. ]

Hmm...I don't think so? That stuff is here, but it's labeled so it's easy to avoid.

[There have been mood effects that he has gotten, but he didn't realize it was from the food. Not all food with effects is labeled unfortunately.]

Maybe that's why it's so much cheaper, since drugs aren't put into it.

Helps when you know what you're lookin' for or what to avoid. Never had to do anythin' close to that before arriving here.

[ So as always, they need to be careful! The next thing Atsushi mentions has him loudly sighing. Of course it might be more expensive, but that's the Houses' fault. ]

Sorta makes sense why, even though I kinda thought they'd want anyone to fall victim to whatever they've got in the food. But good to know this place'll be pretty safe.

Neither did I. It seems to be something that just happens here.

[Which is honestly better, Atsushi would be mortified if he got sex-drugged back home where all of Yokohama could see.

The line here moves quickly though, so before long the pair of them will have some Takoyaki.]

Think outta everything, that'll be the biggest issue 'bout this place.

[ Which happens to be the only saving grace; the casino isn't home, not even close.

Thankfully, despite the large number of people waiting in line ahead, the line seems to move quickly. All while securing a taste of the mouthwatering, hot takoyaki, the aroma of the dish wafting by while being passed by on serving dishes. As they are next in line, Jun curiously takes a peak of the menu. It seems fairly standard, nothing too ordinary, with the very same flavours as the ones he knows from back home.

Now it's their turn to order, and although Jun has already made up his mind, he glances at Atsushi, watching with curiosity. ]

Seems pretty standard! Might just try what I usually do back home. But what're you thinking 'bout ordering?

[It's pretty standard indeed, with original, spicy, extra-spicy, and 'mystery'. Three guesses as to what happens with the mystery takoyaki.]

Just the standard one I think, I'm not really one for spicy food.

[Growing up on bland food has made him not tolerant of spice. He'll have to work his way up to the spicy food they offer here.]

What about you? Do you like spicy stuff?

[ It's better to pick the standard option, Jun's not into the fancy type of takoyaki! But thankfully, the 'mystery' type happens to be labelled, so it's easier for them to avoid. Besides, that doesn't sound very appetising. ]

Oh, yeah? You haven't built up the tolerance or somethin'?

[ If so, he can understand that. A few people he knows can't handle spicy food, but Jun hardly minds the spice. ]

Don't mind it! Depending on how hot the spice gets, I'll probably stick with the spicy and see how it goes. Burning off your tongue the first time is probably not the best idea, right?
